In his over 30 years of creating animatronic art, Ron Proulx has developed and honed his own distinctive style. He has pushed the boundaries of animatronic design beyond creating a single figure for a single purpose.  Whether creating large scale designs or ultra-miniature multi-piece designs as small as two or three inches, each creation is part of a larger interactive storytelling scene.  He has created these designs for Steven Spielberg, Muhammad Ali and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.  Today, his art is unparalleled in the world and incorporates the use of various media including metal, wood, latex, foam and plastic, expertly miniaturized, and placed in a compelling scene which unites elements of theater and stage design, film and projection technology and various other surprising technological elements.
